How to make a custom stand for your brand display? You need a drawing or reverse engineering. Not easy. You should have a deep knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, right tools and creativity.

Custom Stand and Custom brand display
We got an order to create a custom stand from Ted Baker. We had an image of end product and some dimensions. First we redrew the parts and made the file ready to cut with our CNC Router, which we use for custom business signs, custom stands and custom brand display. When you need to put your custom stand in a showroom, exhibition or shopping centre, stability and finish are very important.
Materials and Finishing
When choosing materials for this type of stand, make sure they work together. We used 18 mm MDF for the structure and 9 mm MDF for the baskets, so we chose a paint and painting method suited to MDF. Accurate design made a good finish easier. We sanded the structure and applied a two-part undercoat before painting. We assembled the baskets with MDF glue and hidden nails for extra strength. The rest is easy. Just spray painting as final coat. At the end we applied printed TED BAKER canvas on top of the stand.

ExpoNet specialize in exhibitions and event organisation; they approached Sign and Fitouts wanting an arresting 3D Illuminated Sign that would help Tetra Pak, a well-known packaging company, stand out in a busy exhibition centre.
Illuminated 3D Signs can be made in a variety of sizes; smaller sized illuminated signs are the perfect option for Exhibition Stands or reception desks. To achieve this effect, we used thick opal acrylic. Opal acrylic is a milky, translucent plastic that spreads light evenly, making it the perfect material for Light Boxes and illuminated displays. The opal acrylic was grooved in the back and filled with small LED Lights. The final result was a polished design that exudes a soft light, attracting passers-by.
